Hey guys,
I’m really liking the theme so far, however I’m finding that with some images, the main ‘feature’ image on the front page seems pixelated. I’ve resized these to the exact same DPI and resolution of other images that work fine. I’ve tried resolutions everywhere between 640×480 up to over 6400×4800 but this doesn’t work. I’ve also tried DPI between 96 and 300 without success.
Being that this is the primary landing page, it doesn’t look great having pixelated images. Any ideas?
Your help is much appreciated.
Cheers,

Acme SupportsMay 22, 2016 at 10:10 pm #5054tgj001MemberThanks for the quick reply! Most images work great it’s just some that seem to pixelate when the theme re-sizes them for the front page. Strangely enough it’s the images taken on the higher resolution cameras that seem to have the problem.
Is there a specific image size that the theme has been designed to use?

Thanks for your efforts and fast responses! I updated to the new version (1.1.2) a few hours ago but I still seem to be having the issue. I tried deleting the photos and uploading again but that didn’t help either.

TimMay 24, 2016 at 5:42 am #5049acmethemesKeymasterHello tgj001,
Please Go to Settings > Media and increase the size of image thumbnail. Example 400 * 600 and use Regenerate Thumbnail plugin to regenerate the thumbnail size. So, it may help to solve your problem. And make sure the image size used on featured image is always with high quality.Regards,
