Many thanks, this guide is excellent!
Now, if I want to use the folder where this background image is: …/corporate-plus/assets/img/
can I simply recreate the same folder at my child theme and add the new image or do I need to add this path also to functions.php?- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by dsl25.
dsl25ParticipantFrankly, I don’t see WHY you would need login access for that.
My question is simple: how do I change the contact form background image?1. I know where this image is and I can change it myself and I already did so. The problem here is with updates: every time I’ll update I’ll need to change it back.
2. In customizer there is an option for that but it doesn’t work.
3. Is there a way to include it in a child theme?dsl25ParticipantThanks for this but it doesn’t seem to change anything related to this problem.
I just re-enabled sticky menus and added the above in my child CSS and you can see the problem here if you reduce your screen size: ppdesign.tkdsl25ParticipantOK thanks, but I can’t give login details for this site.
dsl25Participantalternative meail??? what’s that, what for?
dsl25ParticipantYes, I already did this as explained in my previous message!
Problem is when updating, that’s why I wanted to use customizer.
You have an option for that but it doesn’t work.dsl25ParticipantI already replaced the preset image of theme manually because the related setting in customizer doesn’t work, at least at my site: http://www.ppdesign.tk
dsl25ParticipantI have the same problem with phone and tablet screens.
I had to remove sticky header menu option in order to have something acceptable.dsl25ParticipantProblem solved with your kind assistance.
The issue was indeed with the browser’s cache that really needed o be purged.
Thanks again!dsl25ParticipantEmail just sent out, many thanks!
dsl25ParticipantDo you have an email where I can send you the screenshots and the link please?
dsl25ParticipantThanks for your feedback.
I’ll try again without cache and see what happens.
In fact the main problems are:
– there is not slider on top of homepage
– there is the title of the page set as homepage displaying at bottom, before footerI use a child theme for some CSS mods and maybe this creates issues but normally it shouldn’t.
dsl25ParticipantThank you very much, that’s fine then.
dsl25ParticipantHello,
Many thanks for your kind reply.
I understand and appreciate your suggestion.
In that case, does this mean that the homepage header image (the large one) will also get the photoshoped version?
Should I then rather completely disable the CSS overlay (code above at my initial message) at homepage? Many thanks!
dsl25ParticipantOK then, no problem, I understand.
Many thanks for your feedback. -
